[the hug is returned affectionately, a grin on his face at the fact that he apparently hadn't ruined everything between them before. while a part of him was aware of the fact that derek wasn't really the type of person to hold something like that against him, it'd been impossible to keep those nerves at bay when he'd walked into the bar. now though, knowing that things are okay, it makes it that much easier to relax. to enjoy being around the man again. (they're still pack afterall, no matter how far apart they may be.)

when the words come, scott lets out a snort of laughter, all tension gone despite the shot being taken at his younger self. yes, he's well aware that he was an ass, regardless of his reasons why. but with both derek and malia still here in the city, he's more than ready to set all of that aside and start over. speaking of which--]

I'm going back to see her afterwards.

[because he owes her that much. given how close the two of them are (will be) back home, he doesn't want to lose that here. it's just too bad that all of them seem to be from different moments in time still. though thankfully, not quite as bad as it had been only a short while ago here.]

You're gonna come by after work though, right? I mean, if you're not busy, the three of us could watch a movie or something. [or at least just hang out together for a couple of hours.] We can order pizza.
