I wish I didn't know this, but the Big Brother motto is Expect the Unexpected,
so are you sure Big Brother is a good choice? Not that I can offer an alternative, because I have no idea, but...just throwing that out there.

Well that and the thing is people who do do dinner and a movie do it backward. Do the movie first so you have something to talk about over dinner and it isn't all awkward and quiet.

Oh, my fault, see? This is what I get for not watching reality tv with the rest of the free world; I kind of assumed you just meant that Big Brother was the more relaxed of the two. Yeah I can't say I was expecting 'snuggle money' but I'll take it. As long as it keeps me fed and housed, I'm happy. I'm not picky. What were you expecting instead?

Eh, if you include the walk, skip the movie, because if you're choosing the walk, chances are, you want to talk to your date. Can't do that at the movies without being an inconsiderate asshole. But if you really wanted to do all three, yeah, that order sounds about right.

tbh living in a house with a bunch of crazy strangers sounds way less stressful than living in the wilderness and having to eat squirrel or something

[ Derek's told himself to have a little faith and beautiful women are a weakness. He won't trust her or let her in right away but he's not opposed to getting to know someone. He might as well, if he's starting a new life, right? ]

All right, well...then let's each respectively settle in and see what's playing next week. In the mean time, I wouldn't hate to have company when grabbing a cup of coffee after my morning run some morning. In case you were inclined to say yes to that as well.

coffee afterwards sounds great too :)

( it's no hike through the mountains or diving into a secluded pool, but she's no stranger to a long run or two. maybe that's just the kind of chance of pace she needs in this new place. )

Ah, I would, but my morning runs are Derek time. Maybe we can do an evening run though. I'm not opposed to more than one a day to accommodate.

[ That gets a smirk out of him. Derek tired after a run. That's cute. Maybe if he was running from something rather than just running for the sake of running, but he's never gotten tired on one of his morning runs, even when they sometimes stretch out for miles and miles. ]

zumba is kind of like the enthusiastic love child of dance and cardio workouts
with a lot of spandex

a fair warning in return: you'll probably be the hottest guy in the class
but i'll try to keep the fawning masses away for you :)

they make a great latte if you're not too manly for a little frothed milk in your morning cup of joe

Perfect, thanks. Don't know how I missed it, because I have, actually, been to the gym.

I wouldn't say I'm too manly for it so much as I just prefer the bitter bite not get compromised by milk. I usually just get a red eye. Maybe I'll make an exception. We'll see.
